When Nicola Romeo bought the company the logo was a small steel circle bearing the words: ALFA ROMEO-MILANO.

Second edition of logo came only when the first one lasted for 5 years. Not many changed since the first release though. The only significant change was the color of text "ALFA - ROMEO" and "MILANO" - it has been changed from golden to white. Probably to draw more attention to it and make it more obvious.
